Sunday - A Quick Guide
This is a simple introduction to some of the features of Sunday. Some things will probably look slightly different (hopefully better) as time passes and new versions are released.
What you'll need
These are the main bits and pieces you'll need to run Sunday. All you need to try out Sunday for yourself is a computer... and you've already got one of those!
1. A computer
Any reasonably recent computer will do. Practically, a laptop is much easier to use than a standard desk-top computer. A mini-notebook (such as the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 shown here) is ideal, as long as the screen resolution is at least 1024 wide.
2. A label printer
This isn't strictly necessary, but is the easiest way to print barcodes and stick them to things. At St Columba we use the Dymo LabelWriter 400 (the cheapest I've found is at OfficeMax). I'm working on ways to support other types of printers in the future.
3. A barcode scanner
Almost any scanner will do. Ours is from DSE (you probably also need a USB cable for new computers).
Live mode
Sunday has two modes: live mode and admin mode. In live mode, only search and sign in functions are available - so you can let anyone operate the barcode scanner, without them being able to access other areas.
This list grows as more people sign in.
Admin mode
Admin mode has full access to all the functionality of Sunday.
Clicking someone's name will show their info.
Lookup page
This page allows you to see all the information we know about somebody. You can change what group they're in, print a new barcode label for them, and see when they last attended.
Attendance
Session times can be adjusted.

Print Nametags
NEW! Now you can print an A4 sheet of nametags with names and barcodes on them, ready to chop up and laminate.
Sunday will store a list of nametags you want to print, and you can print them out when you're ready.
